Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra Announce First U.S. Tour In 35 Years

first_imgToday, decorated British singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Jeff Lynne announced that he will be bringing his Electric Light Orchestra stateside next summer for his first North American tour since 1981, the better part of four decades ago. The announcement comes on the heels of a their memorable return to London’s Wembley Stadium in June, which was immortalized via their upcoming live album/concert film Wembley or Bust, due out this Friday, November 17th. Deep Casing Tools Hires New Manager for Middle East Region

Based in the UAE, Neil Hathaway will lead the company’s growth strategy in the region.Deep Casing Tools recently secured a long-term contract with a national oil company in the Middle East to provide its drillable turbine technology to support the client’s drilling operations.The company said it has also won further orders with an undisclosed service provider and operator in the region to supply fifteen tools over the coming months.Hathaway is an oil and gas executive with 28 years’ international experience in the oil and gas sector, working for oilfield services companies including Weatherford and spending a decade in field operations.David Stephenson, CEO of Deep Casing Tools, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Neil to lead our growth strategy in the Middle East, we feel this appointment demonstrates our commitment to the area.
