STAR EVENT: Chelsea v Basel and Benfica v FenerbahceSemi Final Second LegsTIME: 8.05pm TV: ITVIf you followed us in on Wednesday you’ll have been rewarded with a nice profit of around 7 points thanks to the success of Bayern Munich and it was easier than we could have ever have hoped for or expected. It’s just simply ridiculous to accept that Barcelona have been beaten 7-0 on aggregate. The final, staged at Wembley, should be a cracker and although we have Bayern as favourites at Star Sports you would think it will be closer than either of the semi-finals. The momentum of change in European football appears to have shifted firmly to Germany from Spain.Semi-final action tonight too for the Europa League where there is still British interest through Chelsea who boosted their chances of reaching the final considerably when David Luiz converted his last-gasp free-kick to earn Chelsea a narrow victory over Basel in the first leg at St Jakob Park.As a result, Chelsea have a 2-1 advantage at Stamford Bridge but it’s a dangerous lead to try and sit back and defend and we feel another win is not only likely but essential to secure the final berth.Chelsea are skinny odds, so a double with Benfica could be the play. The Portuguese league leaders trail Fenerbahce 1-0 from the first leg in Turkey and home advantage tonight should be enough for a win in 90 minutes but not necessarily a final place which might need extra time to resolve. We can see this being quite a tight affair after Fenerbahce showed in the first leg they were no pushovers and arguably unfortunate not to be further than 1-0 ahead.Benfica are facing a hectic end to the season with three league matches and a Portuguese Cup final to come as they try to complete a remarkable treble. The double is a shade of odds against and can hopefully reward us with a third win a row.STAR FORECAST(stake between 0.5 and 10 points)5 point win double CHELSEA and BENFICA(+7 points Wednesday)Agree OR disagree?
