Press Association Capoue, who plays as a defensive midfielder but can slot in at centre-back, scored seven goals in 34 league appearances for Toulouse last season. Reports in France suggest Spurs will have to pay 11million euro (£9.5million) plus two million euro (£1.7million) in add-ons to land the Frenchman, who could sign a four-year contract after passing a medical in north London.
